Most people on Yews are parents passing on things their children have outgrown. A few simple habits help keep it that way.
Always pay on Yews
Pay for every order through Yews checkout, including local pickup.
Never pay a seller by EFT, cash or any other way outside Yews, and never accept payment that way as a seller.
Payments made outside Yews aren't covered by buyer protection, and we can't help you get your money back.
If someone asks you to pay or deal outside Yews, don't. Report them. "Asking to pay outside Yews" is one of the reasons you can choose when you report a seller.
Keep personal details private
Don't share bank details, card numbers or passwords in messages or questions.
Don't post your phone number or address in public questions and answers.
Please don't include children's faces or personal details in listing photos, descriptions or messages.
Meeting for local pickup
Arrange the handover in chat.
Meet in a safe, public place.
Check the item before you mark the order as received.
Protect your account
Use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.
If you think someone else has used your account, change your password, sign out of all devices and contact support. See Editing your profile and changing your password.
If something doesn't feel right
Report a listing, seller, user or question. See Reporting a listing, seller, user or question.
If you're a seller, you can block a user from your store. See Blocking and unblocking users.
If there's a problem with an order, see Something's wrong with my order.
