Local pickup and meet-ups

Some sellers offer Local pickup / meet-up. It's free, because there's no courier involved.
For buyers
Choose Local pickup / meet-up as the shipping method at checkout. You don't need an address.
Pay on Yews as normal. Your payment is held until you confirm you've received the item.
Message the seller to arrange a time and a safe, public place to meet.
Check the item when you collect it.
Tap Mark as received on your order once you're happy.
Always pay through Yews, even for local pickup. Don't hand over cash or pay by EFT at the meet-up. Payments outside Yews aren't covered by buyer protection.
For sellers
When you make a sale with local pickup, message the buyer to arrange the handover.
Meet somewhere safe and public.
After handing the item over, tap Handed over on the sale page. The buyer's order then shows Ready for pickup, and they're asked to mark it as received.
Your payment is released when the buyer marks the order as received, or automatically 3 days after you tap Handed over.
If something goes wrong
If the buyer added buyer protection, they can report a problem after you've marked the order as handed over and before they mark it as received. See Something's wrong with my order.
