How is shipping priced?

Shipping on Yews is priced by the courier. You always see the exact price at checkout before you pay.
The delivery option: Pudo locker or Pudo to your door. Local pickup is free.
The route: where the seller sends from (a Pudo locker or their door) and where you receive it (a locker or your door).
The parcel size the seller has set for the item.
The speed, where you can choose one.
Once you've added your delivery address or Pudo locker, checkout shows the live price for each option.
Listings show + shipping from a price. That's Pudo's published locker-to-locker price for the item's parcel size, which is the cheapest Pudo route:
Parcel size | From |
|---|---|
Extra small | R51,75 |
Small | R62,10 |
Medium | R72,45 |
Large | R94,30 |
Extra large | R125,35 |
These prices include VAT. Other routes, like delivery to your door, are quoted at checkout. Local pickup is shown as Free.
The price you pay is always the live quote at checkout, which may differ from the "from" price on the listing.
All items from one store ship together in one parcel. The parcel is sized from the largest item, and moved up one size when there's more than one item (up to Extra large). You pay shipping once for the whole order.
Some sellers offer free shipping discounts, sometimes with a minimum spend or a maximum shipping price. If your order qualifies, the shipping price is struck through at checkout. See Using a discount code.
