Using a discount code
Updated 5 Oct 2026
Sellers on Yews can run their own discounts. Some need a code, and some apply automatically.
Enter a code
Go to checkout for the store's cart.
In the Order summary, type the code into Discount code.
Tap Apply.
The code appears as a chip under the field and the discount shows in your order summary. To remove a code, tap the remove button on its chip.
Good to know
Codes belong to a specific store. A code from one store won't work in another store's cart.
You can add up to 5 codes to one cart.
Codes aren't case-sensitive, and spaces are ignored.
Automatic discounts don't need a code. They show up in your cart and at checkout when your order qualifies.
Free shipping discounts don't apply to local pickup, because there's no shipping to pay.
Why didn't my code apply?
If a code can't be used, its chip shows not applied. Common reasons:
The order doesn't meet the minimum spend or minimum number of items.
The code is only for first-time or returning buyers of that store, or for specific customers.
The code hasn't started yet, has ended, or has reached its usage limit.
You've already used a code that's limited to one use per customer.
It can't be combined with another discount already on your order. An order can have at most one order discount and one free shipping discount.
Offers and custom checkouts
If you're buying an item at a price agreed in an offer, item discounts don't apply to that item. Order discounts and free shipping still can.
Custom checkouts sent by a seller in chat don't accept discount codes, because the seller has already set the final price.
