What is Yews and how does it work?
Updated 5 Oct 2026
Yews is an online marketplace where parents buy and sell pre-loved baby and children's goods, from prams and cots to clothes and toys. Sales happen directly between buyers and sellers. Yews provides the platform, handles the payment and books the delivery.
How buying works
Find an item by searching, browsing categories or filtering by size, condition, brand, delivery option and price.
Ask the seller a question, send them a message or make an offer if you'd like a lower price.
Add the item to your cart and check out. You choose how it gets to you: a Pudo locker, Pudo to your door, or local pickup if the seller offers it.
Pay securely on Yews. Your payment is held until you confirm you've received the item.
Mark the order as received once you've checked it. The seller is then paid.
How selling works
Set up your store. Every account comes with one store.
List your item with photos, a title, a price, the condition and the delivery options you offer.
When it sells, pack it and send it with Pudo (Yews books the delivery for you), or hand it over in person for local pickup.
Once the buyer confirms they've received it, the money goes into your Yews wallet. You can spend it on Yews or withdraw it to your bank account.
Your payment is protected
When you pay, the money doesn't go straight to the seller. Yews holds it until you mark the order as received, or until 3 days after delivery if you don't respond. If you add buyer protection at checkout, you can also report a problem before confirming receipt. Read more in Buyer protection.
You must be at least 18 to use Yews. Yews sells goods for children, but accounts are for adults only.
