A custom checkout lets you put together a deal for a buyer you're chatting with, such as a bundle of several items at a single price.
Open your conversation with the buyer.
In the actions menu, choose Create checkout.
Choose the items: 1 to 20 of your active listings. The item you're chatting about is selected for you if it's still for sale.
Set the total price in whole rand. It must be at least R1 and can't be more than the items' listed prices added together.
Choose the delivery options the buyer can pick from. Only options your items offer together are available, and Pudo options keep each item's parcel size.
Choose when it expires: 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours (the default), 3 days, 7 days or no expiry.
Send it.
The custom checkout appears in the chat as a card, and the buyer gets a notification. They tap Checkout to pay.
Only the buyer in that conversation can use it, and only once.
Discount codes and store promotions don't apply to a custom checkout, because you've set the final price.
The buyer pays shipping as quoted at checkout, plus buyer protection if they choose it.
If you lower an item's listed price below its share of the custom price, the buyer pays the lower price.
If one of the items sells to someone else, the buyer can't check out. Send a new custom checkout.
You can have up to 20 open custom checkouts with the same buyer.
You need a verified email address to send one.
Tap Cancel on the card in the chat. You can only cancel while the buyer hasn't started paying for it. To change a custom checkout, cancel it and send a new one.
