Pricing your items
Updated 5 Oct 2026
You set the price for each item. The minimum is R1.
What buyers pay on top
Buyers pay these on top of your price, so they don't come out of your payout:
Shipping, quoted live by Pudo at checkout. Local pickup is free.
Buyer protection, if they choose it: 5% of the item price after discounts, with a minimum of R10.
What you receive
You receive the item price, less any discounts you offered, and less any shipping you covered with a free shipping discount. See When do I get paid for a sale?
Practical tips
Look at similar items. Search for the same brand and type of item to see what they're listed for.
Be honest about condition. Choose the condition that matches the item, and show any wear in your photos.
Think about shipping. Buyers see a "+ shipping from" price on your listing. Choosing the right parcel size keeps shipping fair. See Pudo parcel sizes explained.
Leave room for offers. Buyers can offer as little as half your asking price. You can accept, decline or counter. See Accepting, declining and countering offers.
Use the photo suggestion as a guide only. The suggested price is a rough estimate for the item in good used condition.
Running a sale
To drop your price for a while, you can run a store discount instead of editing each listing. An automatic discount on specific items shows a Sale badge and the original price struck through. See Managing your store discounts.
Changing your price
You can change your price at any time from Listings. Open offers aren't changed, but you can't accept an offer that's no longer below your new price.
