Withdrawing money to your bank account

You can move your available wallet balance to your bank account at any time.

Add your bank account

1. Go to Bank account, also in Profile under Money.

2. Choose your bank.

3. Enter your account number (6 to 11 digits).

4. Enter the account holder name, using letters, numbers, spaces, full stops or hyphens (up to 50 characters).

5. Save.

The account must be a South African bank account in your own name.

Make a withdrawal

1. Go to Wallet.

2. Tap Withdraw.

3. Enter the amount. The minimum is R50, and it can't be more than your available balance.

4. Tap Confirm withdrawal.

Withdrawals are sent by instant EFT and usually arrive the same day. You'll get a notification when your payout is on its way.

Good to know

• You need a verified email address to withdraw. See Why do I need to verify my email address?

• You can only have one withdrawal in progress at a time.

• If a payout fails, the money goes back into your wallet and we'll let you know. Check your bank details and try again.

• We may need to verify your identity or bank details before paying out.
