How does my Yews wallet work?

On this page
Every Yews account has a wallet. Find it at Wallet, or in Profile under Money.
What goes into your wallet
Sale proceeds, once a buyer confirms they've received an order, or when the payment is released automatically.
Refunds, if a seller cancels your order or a problem you reported is resolved in your favour.
Referral payouts from Refer a friend.
Late payments, if a payment completes after your order expired or was cancelled.
Available and held money
Your wallet shows your available balance, which you can spend or withdraw. Below it, you may see an amount held in escrow. That's money from your sales that is released once your buyer confirms receipt.
Spend your wallet balance
At checkout, turn on Use wallet balance. It's applied after any points and before your payment method. See Paying for an order.
Withdraw to your bank
You can withdraw your available balance to a South African bank account in your name. The minimum withdrawal is R50. See Withdrawing money to your bank account.
Transactions
The Transactions list shows every movement in and out of your wallet, such as sales released, refunds, payouts and withdrawals.
We may hold or reverse wallet credits linked to a disputed order, suspected fraud or a chargeback. See our Terms of Service.
