Asking a seller a question on a listing
Updated 5 Oct 2026
Every listing that's for sale has a questions section. It's a good place to ask about measurements, wear, or what's included.
Ask a question
Open the listing and scroll to the questions section.
Type your question (3 to 500 characters).
Tap Ask question.
You'll get a notification when the seller answers.
Who can see questions
Answered questions, and their answers, are visible to everyone.
An unanswered question is only visible to you and the seller.
Limits
You can have up to 3 unanswered questions on one listing at a time.
You can ask up to 20 questions across all listings in 24 hours.
You can't ask a question on your own listing.
Once an item has sold, it stops taking questions. Existing questions and answers stay visible.
Deleting a question
You can delete your own question while it's still unanswered. Once the seller has answered, it can't be deleted.
Keep payment and contact details on Yews. Deals made outside Yews aren't covered by buyer protection.
If a question on a listing is offensive, spammy or shares personal information, you can report it. See Reporting a listing, seller, user or question.
